Existing boiler getting unreliable?
Breaking down regularly?
In an inconvenient location?
Not as efficient as it could be?
Poor supply of hot water?
Then a boiler upgrade may be the answer.
You choose your manufacturer based on your research and experience. Some engineers like to push a certain brand because that is all they know how to install and get the biggest discount on. This choice is not always done on quality, longevity and suitability to your home. I have a policy that if i can walk into a gas spares company and the parts are readily available in large numbers then the chances are that particular boiler breaks down frequently. Avoiding these boilers can save a customer a fortune in repair costs, inconvenience and possibly time off work getting it repaired. With a boiler you tend to get what you pay for.
With a home visit I can see what size boiler you require for your heating needs based on your insulation factors and radiators installed.
Again the boiler will be sized appropriatly to your property based upon usage, cost and water supply to the premises. Some engineers have a one size fits all policy without a survey leaving customers underwelmed with water flow from the tap.
All new boilers should be fitted to a clean system. This can only be done by powerflushing the radiators and pipework. Some less experienced engineers will tell you that fitting a magnetic filter is all that is required. Listening to this bad advice and not paying for a system flush could damage your new boiler within weeks and is not covered by the manufacturers warranty as it is stated in most installation instructions. Visit the system clean page for more info
All installations are fully guaranteed. I use only quality materials and complete all the relevant documentation such as the Benchmark book, Complete and purchase a building Regulations Compliance Certificate.
Maintenance plans can be set up when I install the boiler if you wish to cover and discount your annual service costs.
With technology moving so fast we have many options for controling your boiler from a simple time clock to weather compensation thermostats. Most can be connected to the internet to enable you to monitor your system when away and turn on and off from anywhere in the world with an internet connection. I can advise on this depending upon your requirements, work schedule, house type, boiler type and how you would like to control it. One option will not suit all.
